Hong Kong Protesters Plan to Disrupt Airport After Night of Chaos

(Reuters, By Farah Master and Joe Brock) Clashes erupted during Hong Kong protests on Saturday night as police fired tear gas and water cannons, and demonstrators threw petrol bombs. Protest organizers urged protesters to block and overwhelm transport connections to the airport on Sunday and Monday. The Saturday protests mark the fifth year since the government's decision to not implement universal suffrage in Hong Kong. <Accessed 2019-09-01>
