Tsai Gains Support, While Lai Cheered On in Japan

(Taipei Times, By Yang Chun-hui and Lin Tsui-yi) While opinion surveys demonstrated an increase in support for President Tsai Ing-wen, former Premier Willam Lai received positive encouragement from Japanese and Taiwanese in Japan.
