(China Post/AP) After Taiwan and Sao Tome and Principe severed their diplomatic relations last week, the African nation has resumed its relations with the People's Republic of China. This comes as a huge political victory for the PRC and helps further its claim that it is the sole China. Beijing had previously suspended relations with Sao Tome and Principe after the African country established initial relations with contact in 1997.
